Remove the rear coolant manifold cover (shown at black arrow in picture below) from the top of the oil cooler. The fuel pressure from the injector rail cast into the head (small hole to the left of the arrow) is far greater than the pressure in the cooling system. Drain the vehicles cooling system completely. Cracks are generally caused by overheating and because this area is thin, it is most susceptible to cracking.
